iVoices

iVoices (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an original voice-only social platform conceived, designed, and built by Mohammad Hamdan (Qatar). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your display name provided at sign-up.
• Voice recordings: Audio you record for posts, comments, stories, and direct messages. Recordings are stored only to deliver them to intended recipients.
• Photos & videos: Media you choose to attach to posts, accessed only when you explicitly select or capture them.
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as app version and crash reports, used solely to improve stability.

2. Microphone & Camera Access

iVoices is a voice-first app. We request microphone access to let you record voice posts, voice comments, and voice direct messages. We request camera and photo library access to let you attach photos and videos to posts. We never record audio in the background — the microphone is active only while you are actively recording inside the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your voice posts, comments, and messages to the people you share them with.
• To personalise your feed and Circles experience.
• To improve app stability and fix bugs.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your voice recordings for advertising.

4. Data Storage & Security

Voice recordings and media are stored on secure cloud servers. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We retain recordings only as long as necessary to provide the service — deleted posts and messages are removed from our servers within 30 days.

5. Children’s Privacy

iVoices is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

• Access & portability: You may request a copy of your data at any time.
• Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data from within the app settings.
• Correction: You may update your display name at any time in your profile.

7. Third-Party Services

iVoices may use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Expo Application Services (build infrastructure)
• Apple (iOS platform, In-App Purchase)

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a notice inside the app. Continued use of iVoices after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
